The 1st Harry Potter: Magic Awakened Card & Echo Design Challenge is about to begin, with in-game prizes, implementation rewards, and community popularity awards awaiting the winners.

I. Schedules
Submission Period: October 1, 2025 – October 31, 2025 (31 days)
Voting Period: November 1, 2025 – November 30, 2025 (30 days)
Review Period: December 1, 2025 – December 10, 2025 (10 days)
Results Announcement: December 11, 2025 – December 25, 2025 (14 days)

II. How to Enter
Submission Platform: In-Game Notice Board
Log into the game during the event and submit your entry as a post in the Paper Aeroplane Notice Board under the designated topic.
Participants are free to invite others to vote for their creations, whether through the in-game chat channels or on social platforms.

III. Rules & Guidelines
1. Please use the official submission template, available from the Paper Aeroplane Notice Board or the official website's event page.
2. Entries must be related to the Harry Potter: Magic Awakened mobile game. If you need models, cards, or scene references, please consult the official website.
3. This challenge is divided into four divisions: Echo, Spell Card, Summon Card, and Companion Card. Each participant (individual or team) may submit multiple different works within or across divisions, but the same work may not be submitted more than once. For works involving multiple copyright holders, participants must obtain proper authorisation from all rights owners.
4. If a participant submits multiple different works in the same category, the final reward will be granted based on the highest-ranked work in that category.

IV. Award Categories
1. Adoption Winners
Up to 10 submitted works across all divisions and regions will be selected by the Magic Awakened development team for in-game implementation.
If a design is adopted, the creator will receive 50,000 Gold upon the results announcement.

At the same time, the creator of the selected work will receive an official Harry Potter: Magic Awakened Gift Set (including three art books, a scarf, and character desk stand), a set of five collectible badges, and one themed folder.
When the design is implemented in the game, the creator will receive rewards based on the division of their winning entry.
Echo: 200 Legendary-quality level-1 Echoes of their design and a permanent exclusive title are granted.
Card: Sufficient copies of the implemented card to upgrade it to Lv. 15 and a permanent exclusive title are granted.

2. Popularity Winners
Popularity Winners will be determined by votes from all players within the participant's community. Rewards will be granted to the top 100 entries in each community as follows:
1st Place: 50,000 Gold and the permanent exclusive title "Companion Card/Summon Card/Spell Card/Echo Mastermind (Vol. 1)" (delivered immediately in-game).
2nd–3rd Place: 30,000 Gold and the permanent exclusive title "Companion Card/Summon Card/Spell Card/Echo Favourite (Vol. 1)" (delivered immediately in-game).
4th–10th Place: 20,000 Gold and the permanent exclusive title "Companion Card/Summon Card/Spell Card/Echo Contender (Vol. 1)" (delivered immediately in-game).
11th–100th Place: 2,000 Gold (delivered immediately in-game).

V. Design Selection Rules
1. Popularity Winners: The Card & Echo Design Challenge includes an in-game voting stage. Players submit their works through the in-game Notice Board. Once approved and displayed by the system, entries become eligible for voting. After the results stage, the Popularity Winner Awards will be granted based on the ranking of in-game votes.Voting takes place in-game only. You'll receive 5 voting tickets the first time you access the event page each day.
2. Player voting will be conducted in-game. Winning participants will be determined based on the outcomes of the final player votes and will be announced on the official Harry Potter: Magic Awakened website and social media platforms.
3. Adoption Winners: Up to 10 design entries will be selected by the dev team panel during the review period. Winning works will be gradually implemented in future game versions.
4. The Adoption Winners and the Popularity Winners are independent of each other.

VI. Copyright and Commercialisation Notice
1. During the event period, participants are strictly prohibited from using their submitted works for any commercial purpose or from granting any third party the right to use such works in any form.
2. Except for the right of attribution, all copyrights and any subsequent benefits derived from the submitted works shall automatically vest in Harry Potter: Magic Awakened (the mobile game). The manner of attribution shall be determined solely by NetEase.
3. By submitting a work to the contest, the participant shall be deemed to have granted NetEase a licence to use the work for promotional and communication purposes related to this event, including but not limited to display (with attribution) within the game, on the official website, and on social media platforms. 
4. In exercising rights of authorship over their works, participants shall not infringe or otherwise prejudice the intellectual property rights of NetEase in relation to the Harry Potter: Magic Awakened game.
5. All awards shall be issued to the submitting author. Where awards include in-game assets (such as portrait frames or customised titles), such awards shall be granted exclusively to the character on the server associated with the account used to submit the work.
6. Should a participant discover that their work has been misappropriated, reposted, or otherwise infringed, they shall promptly contact the official customer service of Harry Potter: Magic Awakened to report the matter. NetEase reserves the right to take legal action or other protective measures to defend against infringement of submitted works.

VII. Work Review
The organiser of the event shall review all submitted works and registration information. Where a participant is found to fall under any of the following circumstances, the organiser reserves the right to disqualify the participant from the event:
1. Failure to satisfy the conditions for eligibility or award.
2. Provision of false or invalid information.
3. Submission of works that infringe upon third-party rights, including but not limited to trademark rights, copyrights, patents, portrait rights, or other lawful interests; plagiarism, copying, misappropriation, or unauthorised use of others' works; or direct submission of images from other games, anime, or related works.
4. Participation in the event by improper means, including but not limited to exploitation of loopholes or theft of event materials.
5. Dissemination, whether directly or through third parties, of false statements or other remarks relating to the event that may damage the reputation of the event or the organiser.
6. Submission of works containing sensitive or prohibited content, content harmful to the reputation of Harry Potter: Magic Awakened or the organiser (including its affiliates), content promoting products other than Harry Potter: Magic Awakened, or any other unlawful or non-compliant content.
7. Use of submitted works for commercial purposes or authorisation of third-party use of submitted works in any form during the event period.
8. Violation of any event rules issued by the organiser; conduct harmful to the normal operation of the event; or implementation or participation in actions detrimental or unfair to the organiser or the event.
9. Submission of content clearly unrelated to the event, or submission of works already entered into any other challenge or event.
10. Submission of collaborative works without the full and proper authorisation of all creators.

*For winning works, the organiser reserves the right to require winners to provide additional or more detailed design information necessary for subsequent production. Should a winner refuse to provide such information, the organiser shall have the discretion to determine whether or not to implement the work in the game.

VIII. Participant Submission Statement
Participants are requested to read the following carefully and hereby make the following representations and warranties:
1. The entry must be the participant's own original work. The participant warrants full ownership of the copyright in the entry. Where copyright is jointly owned by multiple persons, the participant shall ensure that all co-owners have granted valid authorisation. The organiser and co-organiser(s) shall bear no liability for any dispute arising from lack of such authorisation.
2. No part of the entry, whether in whole or in part, shall copy, misappropriate, or otherwise infringe any third party's works or lawful rights and interests, including but not limited to copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property.
3. There is no limit on the number of submissions. A participant may submit multiple entries; however, within the same division, a participant may receive only one award, which shall correspond to the highest prize obtained.
4. In view of the entry's use of content from the game Harry Potter: Magic Awakened and its derivative works as licensed by NetEase, upon submission, all intellectual property rights in the entry shall be jointly owned by the participant and NetEase. The participant shall retain only the right of attribution, and the manner of attribution shall be determined at NetEase's sole discretion.
5. By submitting an entry, the participant is deemed to have granted NetEase permission to use the entry for promotion and communication related to this event, including but not limited to credited display in-game, on the official website, and on social media platforms. 

IX. Announcement of Results
1. The list of winners will be announced after the conclusion of the event in-game. Participants are advised to check the results promptly for award information.
2. Winning participants must carefully review official notifications and, within the specified time period, cooperate with the organiser to provide the source files of winning works and complete verification of personal information and other required procedures.
3. If a winning participant fails to respond to the award notification within the prescribed time, such failure shall be deemed a forfeiture of the award. For the Popularity Winner Award, the prize will be transferred to the next eligible participant based on the overall ranking of reposts, comments, and views.
